International Admissions Requirements

In order to be considered for International Admissions, you must meet the following requirements:

1. Possess at least a Grade 12 or GED 12 (minimum requirement: high school completion)

If you have completed any college/university/apprenticeships, please include that information on your application form.

2. English Language Proficiency

English is the language of instruction at Saskatoon Business College. Applicants whose first language is not English must present evidence of their English proficiency.

Before You Apply

Research your program of choice on the SBC website (http://www.sbccollege.ca/international-students).

Contact the Registrar at sbcregistrar@sbccollege.ca or by phone at 1-306-244-6333 if you have any questions.


Application Requirements

Apply online or submit application along with the non-refundable $100 application fee.

Pay online and use your surname as the invoice number. 

Email sbcregistrar@sbccollege.ca the following scanned documents: 

  1. Official secondary/post-secondary transcripts and diploma/certificates.

  2. Proof of Language Proficiency Requirement (if English is not your first language).

  3. A scanned copy of your valid passport and your valid study permit if you have one.


*Students are required to present original copies of all documents including a valid study permit on or before Registration Day.

Upon receiving your Acceptance Letter, apply for your Study Permit through Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada.

Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has approved SBC as a Designated Learning Institution (DLI). The college is not eligible for the Post-Graduate Work Permit Program (PGWPP). After Your Acceptance

  1. Notify SBC to inform us that your Study Permit as been approved.
  2. Payment must be made as indicated on Letter of Acceptance. See International Tuition & Fees for more information.
  3. You must provide SBC with their original study permit/passport upon arrival in Saskatoon.
  4. You MUST attend Registration Day or your registration with SBC will be cancelled.
